Dr Bisma Shahzad

BDS, MFDF

Dr Bisma graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Birmingham and is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Bisma is a highly motivated and skilled dentist with a strong interest in both aesthetic and surgical dentsitry she enjoys providing composite smile makeovers and minimally invasive cosmetic treatments to help patients achieve natural, confident smiles.

Alongside her general dental work, Bisma serves as a locum first on-call Oral and Maxillofacial SHO at Royal Stoke Hospital, managing acute cases and assisting with surgical procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment. She previously completed two years as a Dental Core Trainee in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University Hospital North Midlands, where she developed advanced skills in complex extractions, surgical assessments, and post-operative care.

Bisma is currently working towards her Intermediate Minor Oral Surgery (IMOS) accreditation and is awaiting qualification in intravenous sedation, allowing her to provide enhanced care for surgical and anxious patients. She is also undertaking further training in partial and complete dentures to broaden the range of restorative treatments she can offer.
